I’m Allan Klaus. I started shipping software in 2011, at an agency on the coast. Then a startup, consulting, Brazil’s largest hosting company, a US healthtech, an edtech, and a global-mobility product.

On a résumé that becomes “Ruby on Rails specialist”. In practice it means this: I like old systems, unglamorous integrations and problems that hurt the business. I also like publishing. Apps, essays, talks. If it only lived in a private repo, it never quite existed.

I’m a Seventh-day Adventist. Part of what I built — the Adventist Bible and the ecosystem around it — came from that, but the family of Christian apps also serves churches, families and people seeking faith, study and devotional material without being limited to one denominational context.
